1. What CodeMesh is
CodeMesh indexes repositories you connect and serves structured answers about them to your coding agent. Using it means installing an editor extension and a sync daemon on machines you control, and connecting an agent over MCP or OAuth.
2. Your account and your organisation
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the account details you give us.
- You are responsible for who you invite into your organisation. Members can query your graph subject to their role, and every member can see an activity view of the last 90 days for other members, including their email address, IP address, browser user-agent and a preview of the queries they sent.
- You are responsible for what your connected repositories contain. CodeMesh indexes your code as written, including any personal data inside it.
3. Plans and what they change
The extension, the sync daemon and the agent connection are included on every plan, including Free. Plans differ in how much you can index and how many people share the organisation. Enterprise is quoted rather than listed.
4. Billing
- Upgrading mid-cycle. You are charged the new plan price less the unused portion of the plan you are on, calculated over the real number of days in that billing period. The recurring amount becomes the new plan price from then on.
- Team seats. Team is billed per seat. Recurring payment falls on the organisation admin's original renewal day, and someone invited mid-cycle is charged only for the days between their invite and that date, so the organisation keeps one renewal date rather than accumulating several.
- Payment providers. Card details are entered directly with Stripe or Razorpay and never reach CodeMesh. We store a provider reference, the amount and the status.
- Currency. Prices may be displayed in your local currency using a rate service. The charged amount is the one shown at checkout.
5. Cancellation
You can stop a recurring payment from the billing page. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. To delete an account, an organisation, or an indexed repository and its graph, email hello@codemesh.com: these are handled manually today and there is no self-service deletion in the product. We would rather say that than point you at a button that does not exist.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not connect repositories you do not have the right to index.
- Do not attempt to reach another organisation's graph.
- Do not attempt to defeat the read-only enforcement on graph queries, or to use a granted scope beyond what it covers.
- Do not resell access to the service as your own product without an agreement with us.
7. What we do not do with your code
- Your code is never used to train machine-learning models.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not send marketing email from this product.
What we do process, and where it is held, is set out in the privacy policy and in more practical terms on the data policy page.
8. The benchmark claim
Published reduction figures come from the CodeMesh benchmark: a fixed set of questions against one public repository with one model. They are a measurement of that run, not a guarantee about your repository, your agent or your bill. Nothing on this site is an undertaking that your total AI spend will fall by any particular percentage.
9. Availability
No uptime commitment is offered on the standard plans. If you need one, it belongs in an enterprise agreement: see enterprise.
10. Changes to these terms
We will update the date at the top when this changes, and tell account holders directly if a change is significant. The notice period for material changes is one of the clauses still with counsel.
